This new product from Bruggan is part of the new Bruggan Expert Smart System design, which we will be presenting in full shortly.
It is noticeably different from the aluminum battens that are used now and to which those who install terrace systems are accustomed.
Firstly, it is now possible to use any self-tapping screws, not only special metal screws.
Secondly, the self-tapping screws in the lag are securely fixed and never twist.
And thirdly, it is possible to screw in and out the screws several times.
All this is possible thanks to a special chute, which is located in the middle of the lag and the partition, which not only increases rigidity, but also makes it possible to securely fix the self-tapping screws.
The gutter is located only on one side of the Bruggan beam, so if its use is not required, you can fix the beam on the other side.
Another innovation from Bruggan is the ability to attach a special noise absorbing tape (available separately). It is adhesive-based, so it is very easy to attach.
The standard size of Bruggan’s new aluminum batten is 40 by 25 mm.
