This solution is designed specifically for the two most technically challenging areas of decking: the perimeter edge of the terrace and the front edge of steps.

The problem with standard solutions

When a regular decking board is used as the outer board, the installation groove remains exposed. To hide it, installers usually add a corner trim or an overlay profile.

This approach:

  • adds an extra element to the construction
  • creates a visible joint
  • requires additional fasteners
  • thickens the edge of the deck
  • complicates installation

When building steps, installers often need to mill the board or add a metal corner profile. This increases labor time and often reduces the visual precision of the edge.

The solution — ST140 profile

LEGRO ST140 is a special board designed without the outer mounting groove on the visible side.

Because of this:

  • the terrace edge remains clean and finished
  • no corner trims are required
  • the surface texture remains continuous
  • the geometry of the line stays precise

Installation is performed using a starter/finishing clip from below, ensuring hidden fastening without visible screws on the surface.
