For 15 years, our company has represented products from leading manufacturers of outdoor terrace materials on the market. These include decking boards and tiles made from a special material — wood-polymer composite. This material is closer to polymer than natural wood, although it is produced from wood fibers bonded together with polymers, UV stabilizers, and pigments. Like any other construction material, decking boards are subject to certification in accordance with quality standards. During fire safety certification testing, the material receives a classification rating that determines the types of facilities and spaces where it can be used under the safest conditions.
The fire safety of the products presented in our catalog is confirmed by state certificates of compliance with fire safety technical regulations.
To determine compliance, product samples underwent the required testing according to established GOST standards:
• combustibility — smoke temperature, burning duration, and degree of damage;
• flammability — density of the flame formed on the surface;
• the speed at which fire spreads across the coating surface;
• smoke generation — the amount and density of smoke produced during combustion;
• the quantity and composition of toxic substances released during the burning process.
Based on the test results, the decking received a KM5 fire hazard classification, which allows this coating to be used in open outdoor areas. In the absence of open flame, decking surfaces are completely safe, as the possibility of spontaneous ignition is fully excluded. The list of standards according to which the testing was conducted is specified in the Appendix to the certificate issued by the certification authority.
