We present another novelty of this construction season – Bruggan aluminum lag, which is part of the new Bruggan Expert Smart System construction. We will show and tell you about all its components soon.
This new product differs significantly from the usual aluminum legs, which are used nowadays for the installation of patio systems.
Any kind of self-tapping screws can be used with it. Previously, in order to securely fasten the frame of the terrace or facade, only special self-tapping screws for metal with a drill bit were used. Now you can easily screw in any. Self-tapping screws in the lag are securely fixed, do not loosen and do not twist. With it you can screw in and out self-tapping screws as many times as necessary. Conventional lags did not allow this, because after the first unscrewing the screws are no longer held firmly, and this affects the strength and durability of the entire system.
All these installation conveniences have become possible thanks to the new architecture of the Bruggan lagging. Firstly, it has a special groove in the middle of the structure. It is thanks to this that the self-tapping screws are securely fixed. In addition, there is a partition inside the beam, which not only increases its rigidity, but also allows you to securely fix the screws.
If you don’t plan to use the gutter, it won’t be a problem either, because it is located only on one side of the Bruggan aluminum lagoon, so you can easily fix it on the other side.
An additional innovation from Bruggan is the ability to attach a special noise absorbing tape to the lag, which can be purchased separately. It comes in handy spools and has an adhesive backing, so it is very easy to attach to the lagoon.
The standard size of the new Bruggan aluminum lagging is 40 by 25 mm.
Samples of Bruggan aluminum lagging are already available on our website or from your managers.
